World Migratory Bird Day 2026

We invite you to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at Vallarta Botanical Garden. Join us on May 9th for this global celebration aimed at recognizing, celebrating, and raising awareness about migratory birds.

The Vallarta Botanical Garden will host this event as part of a worldwide network of activities that seek to engage communities in celebrating migratory birds.

The Banderas Bay region is a key stopover along the migratory route for many bird species, making it important to learn about them and protect them as they pass through this area.

Join us for a guided walk to observe the birds that inhabit the garden, as well as those just passing through for the season.

Don’t forget to bring your binoculars!

There will be talks, environmental education activities, and workshops.

Don’t miss it.
